Grassland Supply of the Ozarks, Scott Material Building Supplies, and Heatmor Outdoor Furnaces

At Grassland Supply, our mission is to provide supplies and equipment that meet the demands and rigors of raising "Livestock on Grass". We strive to be more than a supply house of gadgets - our goal is to improve the quality of life in the agricultural arena through product selection, testing, education and continual evaluation. We offer many different brand names in a wide range of products. We honestly feel that our product selection is the best available for all different levels of use. We will not mislead you in giving advice on products and will do our best to direct you to items that will meet your needs - regardless of price. Agriculture is a business, but more importantly it is a "lifestyle". With the proper tools, knowledge,and a little luck - raising livestock on grass can be the grandest lifestyle of them all.

We at Scott Material, Inc are proud to be in our 12th year of business and are looking forward to many years to come. We opened for business in March of 1993 in a 3500 sq ft building on Main Street in Licking, Missouri ~ selling Porter Paints and hardware. In the summer of 1995 we expanded into lumber Sales as we relocated onto a 4 acre facility just outside the western city limits. This facility provides us with storage of all our various product as well as giving us over 8900 sq ft of Sales Floor Area.

In 1996 we took on two more lines of merchandise, "Merrillat Cabinets" and "Heatmor" Outdoor Wood Furnaces. As of April of 2005 we are currently in the process of expanding our "yard". Thirty six acres adjacent to us has been purchased and part of this property will be leveled for display and storage of some new products we have recently added to our inventories. GSO (Grassland Supply of the Ozarks) formed in the beginning of 2004, is housed in the lower level of Scott Material and specializes in Hi-Tensile fencing, cattle handling equipment, waterers, livestock scales and numerous lines for the "Progressive Grassland Livestock Producer". We want to thank you all for your patronage of GSO this past year. Your support has inspired us to add several new product lines and services - as well as an internet website to serve you further.
